Scott Fox has over 40 years of experience in the fixed and wireless telecommunications industry, including strategy, advanced technology, business development, sales, engineering, large-scale system design and deployment, technology roadmap development, commercial and government contracting and consulting, public safety, and entrepreneurial start-up and scaling.
In 2021, Scott is currently a Senior Technical Advisor for the United States Department of Defense (DOD) OUSD (R&E) - Advancing 5G Communications for America's National & Economic Security.
In 2020, they were the Director of Collaboration, Innovation, & Commercialization at SpectrumX - The National Center for Spectrum Innovation.
From 2019-2018, Scott was a Board Member and Independent Director of Assured Wireless Corporation and an Entrepreneur-In-Residence (EIR) - CU Venture Partners at the University of Colorado Boulder. During this time, they also worked as a SAGE - Lead Mentor at Innosphere.
From 2014-2011, Scott was the Lead Manager, Sr Technical Advisor (STA) for FirstNet, Dept. of Commerce, NTIA at the First Responder Network Authority (FirstNet) and a Board Member, Independent Director of Iowa Wireless (acquired by T-Mobile USA).
In 2004, Scott founded Global View Partners, a leading Strategy, Technology, and Business Consulting company focused globally across the Wireless Industry. Scott also served as a Board Member for the Institute For a Connected Society and Voice Assist, Inc. a Nevada public company.
Scott Fox attended the University of Florida from 1975 to 1981, earning a Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering with a focus in Digital Communications. In 1998, they completed a Graduate Program at The Wharton School, focusing on "Strategic Thinking and Management for Competitive Analysis".
