David Block

David Block is an experienced insurance professional serving as President of Insurance Specialties, Inc. since September 1992, a wholesale brokerage agency focused on ancillary employee benefits, individual disability, and long-term care. In addition to this role, Block holds General Agent positions at Allied National, Assurity Life, Companion Life Insurance Company, and AIG American General. Block contributes to the Disability Insurance Forums and is an active member of NAHU and NAIFA. Block is also an Executive Board Member at Crescent Health Solutions and served as the Past Federal Law & Legislative Chair for the NC Association of Health Underwriters. Educational qualifications include a BS in Secondary Education/Math with an English Minor from the University of Bridgeport.
