Mitch Lee

Mitch Lee is an experienced professional in internal audit and accounting, currently serving as Vice President of Internal Audit at Assurity since March 2010, where responsibilities include directing internal audit services for a life insurance company and its subsidiaries, focusing on internal controls, IT security, and enterprise risk management. Previously, Mitch held the position of Director of Internal Audit at Lansing Trade Group, LLC, overseeing audit services across multiple commodity trading locations. Additional experience includes serving as Vice President of Accounting at Aleritas Capital Corporation, where Mitch played a key role during the company's IPO, and Director of Internal Audit at NovaStar Financial, where the initial internal audit function was established. Mitch holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Accounting and Business/Management from Kansas State University.
