Rebecca Svec

Rebecca Svec is an experienced content writer and marketing coordinator with a diverse background in communications. Currently, Rebecca holds the position of Content Writer at Assurity since May 2022 and serves as Marketing Coordinator at Fortify Group since January 2013. In addition, Rebecca has worked as a freelance writer and editor for various organizations, including UC Berkeley, Bryan Health, Crete Area Medical Center, and Doane University, since September 2010. Prior to these roles, Rebecca was the Director of Communications and Public Relations at Doane University from September 2003 to January 2013 and contributed as a freelance newspaper columnist for the Lincoln Journal Star, York News-Times, and Hastings Tribune from September 2003 to September 2010. Rebecca’s journalism career began as a news reporter from May 1996 to September 2003. Rebecca earned a Bachelor of Arts in Journalism from the University of Nebraska-Lincoln in 1996.
