Binit Shah is a seasoned mechanical engineer with extensive experience in the nuclear sector. Currently serving as a Principal Mechanical Engineer at Assystem since October 2025, Binit previously held the same title at Cavendish Nuclear, leading the Submarine Dismantling Project for the Ministry of Defence. Prior to that, positions included Senior Mechanical Engineer at Cavendish Nuclear, where responsibilities involved significant projects such as the Pile Fuel Cladding Silo. Binit's career also includes experience as a Mechanical Engineer at Resolve Robotics and various roles at James Fisher Nuclear Limited, where leadership in multi-disciplinary teams and development of innovative engineering solutions was demonstrated. Binit holds a Master of Engineering degree in Mechanical Engineering from Loughborough University.
