Gavin Dobbing

Gavin Dobbing is an experienced Programme Director currently leading new build programmes at Assystem since November 2023. Previously served as a Technical Advisor at the Nuclear Innovation Research Office from April 2023 to October 2023, focusing on the UK Government's clean energy initiatives. Prior roles include Project Director at Gleeds, supporting public sector nuclear infrastructure projects, and Head of Programme Assurance at the Department for Business, Energy and Industrial Strategy, overseeing a multi-billion-pound infrastructure project. With extensive experience in procurement, commercial strategy, and project management across various organizations, Gavin's early career included roles as Business Manager at QinetiQ and Particle Accelerator Physicist at CLRC Daresbury Laboratory. Gavin holds a BSc in Physics from the University of Birmingham and the University of Manchester.
