Philippe Escande

Architecte Ensemblier Référent

Philippe Escande is an experienced engineering professional specializing in mechanical engineering and production systems. Currently serving as the Architecte Ensemblier référent and Ingénieur Mécanique Sénior at Assystem since January 2015, Philippe is responsible for the oversight and documentation of equipment assembly procedures for the Tokamak at ITER. Previous positions include Technical Manager at CNIM, where Philippe led the response to bids for a wastewater treatment facility and managed the structural lot for the Porte Bassin Ile Longue project. Philippe also worked as a Manufacturing Engineer at Pechiney/Constellium, overseeing significant investments in aluminum processing and driving continuous improvement initiatives that enhanced productivity. Philippe holds a Diplôme d'ingénieur in mechanical engineering from IFMA (Institut Français de Mécanique Avancée).
