Stephen Kidd

Stephen Kidd has extensive experience in safety and risk management, currently serving as the Head of Discipline for Safety and Risk at Assystem since January 2025, after previously holding the same title from November 2020 to March 2025. Prior to this role, Stephen was the Chief Consultant and Safety Case Lead at CRA Corporate Risk Associates from September 2019 to March 2025. Stephen's career also includes a tenure as Group Leader at Frazer-Nash Consultancy from July 2010 to August 2019, where oversight was provided to a team of safety and assurance specialists. Early experience includes a position as a Senior Engineer at Jacobs from January 2002 to October 2005, focusing on hazard identification and safety case support. Stephen holds a Bachelor of Science in Electrical and Mechanical Engineering from the University of Strathclyde and a Master of Science in Nuclear Science and Technology from The University of Manchester.
