Tom Loughlin

Tom Loughlin is an experienced mechanical design engineer and director of TL Design Ltd., specializing in automotive, military vehicles, and agricultural/construction equipment. With a career spanning over a decade, Tom has held various roles, including Contract Mechanical Design Engineer at Rheinmetall Defence and Rheinmetall BAE Systems Land, where responsibilities included designing and developing products and managing projects from concept to production. Previous experience includes Project Engineer at Witter Towbars and Mechanical Design Engineer at BAE Systems, focusing on armoured vehicle platforms. Currently, Tom is pursuing chartership with the Institution of Mechanical Engineers and working as a Contract Senior Mechanical Designer at Assystem.
