Anne McGee

Anne McGee has a diverse work experience spanning several different industries and roles. Anne is currently serving as the Chapter President at ASTA - American Society of Travel Advisors. Prior to this, they worked as the Wine Club Events Coordinator and Travel Advisor specializing in wine touring at Lenné Estate Winery and Cruise Planners/AMEX Travel. Anne also served on the Defense Institution Reform Initiative Strategic Analysis Team at Naval Postgraduate School from 2012 to 2013. Before that, they worked at SAIC as a Research Coordinator and Senior Strategy Analyst, focusing on social dynamics analysis and joint IED defeat. Anne also served as a consultant at Pakistan Afghanistan Rich Contextual Understanding SMA. Their earlier experience includes roles such as CJCS Chair, Deputy Department Chair at National Defense University, Operations Staff Action Officer at Joint Staff, and Strategy and Plans Officer at U.S. European Command. Anne began their career as a KC-135 Navigator in the United States Air Force.

Anne McGee has an extensive education history. Anne obtained a Doctorate in Interdisciplinary Liberal Studies with a focus on Foreign Policy and Communications from Georgetown University between 2006 and 2011. Prior to that, they earned a Master's degree in Resourcing National Strategy from the Industrial College of the Armed Forces in 2000. In 1997, Anne McGee received a Master's degree in Airpower Art and Application from the School of Advanced Airpower Studies. In 1988, they completed their Master of Business Administration (M.B.A) in Business Administration from Golden Gate University.

In addition to their degrees, Anne McGee has also obtained various certifications. Anne is an Elite Cruise Counselor (ECC) from CLIA (Cruise Lines International Association), a Verified Travel Advisor from ASTA (American Society of Travel Advisors), an Accredited Cruise Counselor from the Cruise Line Industry Association, and a 100% PURE New Zealand Travel Advisor at the Platinum level from Tourism New Zealand. Anne is also a Certified Specialist of Wine (CSW) from the Society of Wine Educators and holds a Level II certification from the Wine & Spirit Education Trust in Wine and Spirits Education.
