Dean Tagle

VP, North America Mainframe Modernization Factory at Astadia

Dean Tagle is the current Vice President of North America Mainframe Modernization Factory at Astadia. Prior to this, they served as the Senior Vice President of Infrastructure and Operations at Bank of America from April 1998 to October 2011. In this role, they were responsible for increasing efficiency, reducing time to market, and enabling business agility by helping their team fulfill strategic and tactical goals through the development of technologies such as SOA, mobile, early adoption to cloud, and planning.

Some of their notable accomplishments include executive level engagements for strategy and architecture as well as developing long-term roadmaps for infrastructure including CRM, SOA, mobile, and overall IT planning, budget, and effectiveness. Dean has also worked side-by-side with business channel technology to create opportunities for business agility and efficiency increases by managing technology portfolios and recognizing growth opportunities.

Dean Tagle's experience in the industry has led him to be a Chief Architect role for supporting line-of-business strategies. Dean has supported Wealth Management and Global Consumer Banking, where they are responsible for the overall architecture dealing in infrastructure and operations. This includes systems redesign, new business applications, rolling out their Enterprise Architectures, working closely to the business to understand and design new systems and business models, migrating existing business applications to new technologies.

Dean Tagle has a Bachelor of Science in Economics from The University of Texas at Arlington, and has minored in Information Systems. Dean has received certification from Amazon AWS as an Amazon AWS Developer Associate, and also as an Amazon AWS Certified Solutions Architect. Dean has also received certification from Bank of America in Six Sigma - Green Belt.

Dean Tagle reports to Scott Silk, Chairman & CEO. They are on a team with Bob Cruickshank - Chief Financial Officer, Louis Heymans - Managing Director, and Wilson Rains - Chief Revenue Officer.
