Jo Mitchell

Jo Mitchell (Atkinson) is an accomplished professional with extensive experience in real estate and facilities management across various prominent companies. Currently serving as the Head of Real Estate and Workplace Experience at Astellas Pharma since February 2024, Jo previously held leadership roles, including VP and Head of Facilities Management at GSK and Change & Commercial Excellence Director at JLL. A career spanning over two decades includes significant positions at CBRE, Johnson Controls, Interserve, and Reliance FM, where Jo has demonstrated expertise in operational excellence, transformation initiatives, and strategic direction for service delivery. Jo holds a Master’s degree in Built Environment: Facility and Environment Management from UCL and a Bachelor’s degree in Physiology from the University of Leeds.
