Brian Kelly is an accomplished engineering executive with extensive experience in the automotive and telecommunications industries. Currently serving as Vice President of Design Engineering at Hitachi Astemo since March 2021, Brian has held various senior leadership positions at Hitachi Automotive Systems from February 2004 to March 2021, including Vice President, Senior Director of Engineering, and Chief Engineer. Prior to this, Brian contributed to the development of hardware for body controllers at Saturn Electronics & Engineering, Inc. from December 1994 to February 2004, and designed switched mode power supplies for Lorain Products from July 1989 to December 1994. Brian holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Electrical Engineering from The University of Toledo, earned in 1989.
