Matthew VanFosson has extensive experience in both military and engineering roles. Currently serving as a Battalion Plans Officer and Executive Officer in the Army National Guard since April 2014, Matthew has also held positions as a Platoon Leader and Team Leader. In the engineering sector, Matthew has worked as a Manufacturing Engineer at Hitachi Astemo since January 2022, following a substantial tenure at Keihin North America from May 2014 to January 2022, where roles included Manufacturing Engineer, Quality Assurance Engineer, and Quality Engineer Intern. Previous experience includes working as an Automotive Mechanic at Plaza Service Center from January 2011 to May 2014 and serving as an F/A-18 Airframes Mechanic in the United States Marine Corps from December 2004 to December 2009. Matthew holds a Bachelor of Science in Industrial Engineering from East Carolina University and an Associate’s Degree in Arts from Pitt Community College.
