Richard Brown

Richard Brown is an experienced communications professional currently serving as the Global Head Of Communications at Hitachi Astemo since September 2019, where a global Communications Department comprising about 30 staff members has been established. Previously, Richard held the position of Communications AVP at MUFG Canada from November 2014 to September 2019, where a Canada-wide Communications Department was built from the ground up. Prior experience includes serving as Account Director at Ashton Consulting Japan, where strategic communications for major accounts were managed, and as an Analyst at Manulife Japan, contributing to post-acquisition restructuring efforts. Additionally, Richard worked as the Assistant Director of Research at JETRO, focusing on promoting the organization's brand among Canadian companies.
