Thomas Fischer

Thomas Fischer is an experienced IT professional with a strong background in managing IT operations across Europe. Currently serving as IT Director and EU IT cluster head at Hitachi Astemo since October 2019, Thomas oversees IT for eight production plants and seven research, development, and sales centers, leading a resilient team of Site IT Leads. Prior to this role, Thomas held the position of Europe IT Director at Chassis Brakes International, managing IT across five production plants and four R&D centers. Thomas's career includes a significant tenure at Bosch, where responsibilities ranged from Senior Manager to Software Engineer, with a focus on engineering applications and IT project management. Thomas holds a Dipl.-Ing. in Mechanical Engineering from Karlsruhe University of Applied Sciences.
