Frances Ling is an accomplished finance professional with extensive experience in financial accounting and budget management. Currently serving as Controller and Senior General Manager (CFO) at Aster since March 2025, Frances previously held various senior finance roles at Shell from July 2013 to March 2025, including Head of Finance for Bukom Refinery & Chemicals and Finance Director for Upstream Indonesia and LNG & JV Project (Abadi). Frances's earlier career includes roles as Global Business Performance Manager & Asia Finance Manager for Downstream LNG at Shell, and as a Consultant at Accenture, specializing in Finance Process Outsourcing. Frances began the career as an Auditor at EY, leading financial audits across multiple industries. Frances holds a Fellowship Chartered Accountant designation and completed the Chartered Financial Analyst Program.
