Alan Ocampo has extensive work experience in the semiconductor industry. Alan currently holds the role of Principal Field Applications Engineer at Astera Labs, starting in April 2022. Prior to this, they worked at Texas Instruments for over 10 years, starting as a Field Applications Engineer in March 2011 and later transitioning to the role of Application Engineer, specializing in Clock & Timing ICs. In this role, they developed and validated various clock components, generated product collateral, and worked on silicon validation and customer evaluation boards. Before joining Texas Instruments, Alan worked at National Semiconductor in different roles, including Application Engineer, Supervisor, and Applications Engineer in areas such as High Speed Amplifiers, Video Timing ICs, and Display Drivers. Alan also had an Engineer Internship at Intel Corporation in 2000. Overall, Alan has a strong background in applications engineering, with expertise in clock and timing technologies.
Alan Ocampo attended the University of California, Davis from 1997 to 2001, where they pursued a Bachelor of Science degree in Electrical Engineering.
