David Wright

Principal Program Manager, NPI at Astera Labs

David Wright has a diverse work experience spanning over several companies and roles. David currently works at Astera Labs as a Principal Program Manager in the New Product Introduction (NPI) department. Prior to this, they worked at AMD Pensando where they held two roles, the first being a New Product Introduction Program Manager and the second as a New Product Introduction Manager. In these roles, they managed the release and manufacturing of new products from prototype to production ramp.

In their earlier career, David started as a Manufacturing Engineer at Cisco Systems, where they supported the production of Cat4K and Cat 6K product lines, providing component-level troubleshooting for complex networking products.

Overall, David Wright has demonstrated expertise in program management, new product introduction, engineering, and manufacturing across multiple industries, including semiconductor and aerospace.

David Wright attended North Seattle College from 1988 to 1990, where they obtained an Associate of Arts and Sciences (AAS) degree in Industrial Electronics Technology/Technician. Subsequently, they pursued further education at Seattle Pacific University from 1993 to 1998, earning a Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering (BSEE).
