Field Quality Engineer at Astera Labs

Dennis Lin has a diverse work experience in the field of quality engineering. Dennis is currently working at Astera Labs as a Field Quality Engineer, where they manage the customer return process, handles re-ball process and bench tests on customer returned units, and collaborates with third-party FA labs for physical failure analysis.

Prior to this, Dennis worked at Anson Semi as a Customer Quality Engineer from 2018 to 2021. In this role, they were responsible for ensuring quality standards for customers and managing customer complaints and inquiries.

From 2015 to 2018, Dennis worked at SPIL as a Senior QA Engineer Lead. From 2010 to 2012, Dennis worked at Qualcomm as a Senior Engineer. Here, they focused on quality management, process performance alignment, and process control. Dennis supervised three CIP teams and was involved in prototype equipment design and manufacturing.

In 2009, Dennis worked at Winbond as a Process Engineer, where they handled machine installation, process phase-in for new generations, and customer audits.

Dennis began their career journey at TSMC in 2004 as a Senior Engineer. Here, they played a significant role in quality maintenance, establishing FMEA and control plans, creating MSA reports, and reducing in-line OOC/OOS rates.

Overall, Dennis Lin has gained extensive experience in quality engineering, customer management, problem-solving, and process improvement throughout their career.

Dennis Lin has a Master of Engineering (M.Eng.) degree in Nanotechnology from National Cheng Kung University.
