Jitendra Mohan

CEO & Co-Founder at Astera Labs

Jitendra Mohan has been a CEO and Co-Founder at Astera Labs since October 2017. Prior to that, they worked at Texas Instruments for five years, from March 2012 to October 2017. There, they served as Product Line Director for Clock and Timing Solutions. In this role, they were responsible for the development organization focusing on TI's clocking product portfolio, including clock generators, oscillators, buffers, jitter cleaners, and RF PLLs.

Mohan has experience with P&L responsibility for profitable, growing businesses spanning wireless communications, telecom, industrial, and automotive markets. Jitendra is skilled in business planning, revenue forecasting, R&D operations, etc. and is known for spearheading the organization to set compelling strategy, produce great products, drive design-ins, and support high volume production.

At Texas Instruments, Mohan was also responsible for direct engagement with worldwide sales teams to execute aggressive growth plans. Jitendra gained sales mind-share by demonstrating compelling technology and providing timely support. Additionally, they served as a decision maker for key business processes such as business plans, pricing strategies, RFQ responses, product portfolio management, COGS reduction, QA, and resource prioritization.

Finally, Mohan managed a multi-million dollar R&D budget to deliver industry leading products. Jitendra effectively deployed resources in strategic growth areas and managed multiple parallel development teams to innovate and execute flawlessly. This required managing a team of design, product, test, and applications engineers as well as active talent management and mentoring.

Jitendra Mohan received their Masters of Science in Electrical Engineering from Stanford University and their Bachelors of Technology in Electrical Engineering from the Indian Institute of Technology in Bombay.
