Michael Dimitrov

Michael Dimitrov has a diverse work experience in the design engineering field. Michael started their career at AMD in 2017 as a PCIe IPSE Systems Engineer, where they were responsible for bring-up and support for PCIe in AMD GPU products. Michael gained expertise in debugging issues related to AMD PCIe IP using various tools and techniques. In 2019, they transitioned to a Design Engineer role at AMD, where they worked on implementing critical features for server products, focusing on Hotplug functionality and PCIe IDE. Michael collaborated with senior designers to create functional and efficient code. Michael also held a concurrent position as a Sr. Silicon Design Engineer at AMD, starting in 2019. Currently, they are working at Astera Labs as a Sr. Design Engineer.

From 2014 to 2018, Michael Dimitrov pursued their Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering at McMaster University.
