Vikash Tyagi has a diverse work experience spanning across various companies and roles. Vikash is currently working as a Project/Tech lead at Astera Labs since October 2021. Prior to this, they were a PD Engineering Lead (Eximius design) at Facebook and Google from November 2018 to October 2021. Before that, they worked as a Staff Engineer at zGlue from January 2017 to December 2018. Vikash also served as a Senior Hardware Engineer at MoSys, Inc. from March 2014 to January 2017.

Earlier in their career, Vikash worked at SanDisk as a Senior Engineer from March 2012 to March 2014. During their time there, they implemented a new load balancing system, developed network computer tools for analog and logic simulation, and consolidated EDA licenses under one pool. Additionally, they published and presented a paper during the SNUG 2013 conference. Prior to their role at SanDisk, Vikash worked as a Hardware Engineer from March 2008 to March 2012, where they developed a Tcltk-based GUI for real-time license usage and automated spice model encryption flow for simulators.

At the beginning of their career, Vikash gained experience as an Intern at Qualcomm from August 2006 to August 2007, where they designed a GUI-based tool for automatically generating testbenches and implementing IEEE 1149.1 std for chip testing.

Vikash Tyagi obtained a Master of Science degree in Electrical Engineering from Syracuse University, where they studied from 2005 to 2007. In addition to their formal education, they have obtained several certifications, including "SNUG Silicon Valley 2022 – Top 10 Presentations" from Synopsys in March 2022, and various Coursera Course Certificates in Python programming and database usage, earned between 2016 and 2016.
