Chenita Thomas has worked in various roles in the security and investigation industry. Chenita started working for USIS in 2006 as a Senior Investigator and continued until 2014. Between 2014 and 2017, they worked for CACI International Inc as a Background Investigator. In 2017, they joined General Dynamics Information Technology as a Field Supervisor until 2019. Chenita currently works at Asteri Systems, Inc. as a Security Specialist.
Chenita Thomas received their Bachelor's degree in Sociology from Alabama A&M University from 2000 to 2006. Later, they pursued further education at Faulkner University and earned a Master's degree in Criminal Justice from 2008 to 2010.

Our personnel have provided key support in security operations, counterintelligence, and the assessment and understanding of important threat data to help improve a number of major defense systems deployed today and planned for the future. We are proud to support the development of capabilities that will help our U.S. and Allied warfighters fight and win on land and sea, and in the air, space, and cyberspace. Our name, Asteri (pronounced: a-STARE-ee), comes from the Greek word meaning "star."
