Ankit Gupta

Ankit Gupta has a diverse work experience spanning various industries and sectors. In 2005, they started their career as a Relationship Manager at Indiabulls Securities Ltd. Ankit then moved on to become a Manager in Corporate Affairs at Aerens Buildwell Ltd. In 2007, they worked as a Technical Analyst at Bullriders.in.

From 2009 to 2015, Ankit worked at the Confederation of Indian Industry, initially joining as an Executive in the Planning & Strategy Department and later being promoted to Executive Officer. During this period, they were also deputed to the Ministry of External Affairs for the Overseas Indian Facilitation Centre project.

In 2015, Ankit joined FICCI as a Senior Assistant Director in Homeland Security, where they played a key role in conceptualizing and creating the SMART Policing Awards and providing consultancy to Law Enforcement Agencies. Ankit was later promoted to Deputy Director and worked on consultancy projects for the Bureau of Police Research & Development.

Ankit's most recent work experience is with Asteria Aerospace Limited, where they held multiple roles. As the Lead in Regulatory & Policy Initiatives from 2020 to 2022, they handled various responsibilities related to regulatory compliance in the drone industry. Ankit then became the General Manager in Compliance for a brief period before being promoted to Assistant Vice President in Regulatory & Policy Affairs. In this role, Ankit obtained drone type certifications and handled regulatory compliances under the Drone Rules 2021.

Ankit Gupta's education history starts with completing their 10+2 degree in Commerce at S.D. Public School. Ankit then pursued a Bachelor's degree in Business Administration (BBA) with a specialization in Finance from JIMS, where they studied from 2003 to 2006. Continuing their education, Ankit earned an Executive Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree in Finance from Stratford University, where they attended from 2010 to 2012. In addition to their formal education, Ankit has also obtained certifications, including "Results-Framework Document" from the Performance Management Division, CABINET SECRETARIAT, Government of India, as well as certifications in Business communication & writing, Foreign Exchange Management Act (FEMA), 1999 and India's FDI policy, and The Sexual Harassment of Women at Workplace (Prevention, Prohibition and Redressal) Act, 2013 from various institutions such as RBI, DIPP, and FICCI.
