Inon S.

Inon S. has held several positions in the technology industry since 1999. In 1999, they began their career as a Commissioned Officer in the Israel Defense Forces. In 2005, they interned at Tel Aviv University, conducting research on chemical kinetics and the formation of silver nanowires. In 2007, they began teaching Chemistry and AP Physics at AMHSI - Alexander Muss High School in Israel, and also served as a Lead Teaching Assistant for the Thermodynamics course at Tel Aviv University. In 2014, they joined NGGL Ltd. as a Core Developer, and then in 2015, they became the First Data Scientist at YouAppi. In 2017, they joined L4B Software as R&D Group Lead, and then in 2020, they became Algorithm Group Manager at Rail Vision Ltd. In 2021, they joined ASTERRA as Head of AI. During their tenure, they have achieved numerous results, such as replacing the company's leading product with a Deep Learning system, rolling out an innovative Deep Learning Lithium Prospecting system, and introducing new RGB and LWIR sensors.

Inon S. has an extensive educational background. In 2017, they were a Visiting Scholar at the University of Pennsylvania in the field of Chemical Physics. From 2008 to 2020, they completed their Ph.D. in Chemical Physics at Tel Aviv University. In 2006, they attended the Kupcinet-Getz International Science School at the Weizmann Institute of Science in Chemical Physics. From 2004 to 2007, they obtained a B.Sc. in Chemistry with Physics as a minor from Tel Aviv University. Additionally, Inon S. holds certifications in Advanced Open Water Diver and Nitrox Diver from AMERICAN CANADIAN UNDERWATER CERTIFICATION INTERNATIONAL A C U C INTERNATIONAL SL, obtained in June 2002, as well as a Real Time Web with Node.js certification from Code School.
