Greg Papillon

Director, Public Health Innovation at ASTHO

Greg Papillon, MPH has a diverse work experience. Greg is currently serving as the Director of Public Health Innovation at the Association of State and Territorial Health Officials, a position they have held since August 2020. Prior to this, they worked as an Associate Director of Healthcare Research Client Management at The Advisory Board Company from September 2014 to August 2019. Before that, they were a Senior Account Manager for Federal Accounts at FedBid, Inc. from November 2011 to August 2014. Greg also had a role in Market Operations at FedBid, Inc. from June 2010 to November 2011.

Greg Papillon, MPH obtained their Master of Public Health (MPH) degree in Epidemiology from George Mason University in the years 2019 to 2021. Prior to that, they completed their Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) degree in Economics at Virginia Tech from 2008 to 2010. In 2005 to 2007, Greg attended William & Mary with a focus on Economics. In addition to their formal education, Greg has also pursued additional certifications including an Advanced Design Thinking Certificate from IDEO (obtained in 2023) and an Innovation and Strategy certification from Harvard University School of Continuing Education (obtained in 2022).
