Dan Farber

Dan Farber has over 30 years of work experience in the medical imaging and software engineering industries. Dan began their career in 1986 as a Senior Software Engineer and Machine Vision Engineer at Recognition Technology Inc. In 1994, they moved to AccuSoft Corporation as Software Manager and Principal Software Engineer. After four years, they joined Trex Medical / XRE as Engineering Manager and Principal Project Engineer, where they worked on Project Management, DICOM Software Engineering, DICOM Interoperability Testing, Product Development and Deployment, and DICOM Standards Committee. In 2001, they moved to Hologic as Project Manager and Principal Project Engineer. In 2010, they joined Photo Diagnostic Systems as Product Manager and Principal Software Engineer and DICOM Engineer. In 2018, they worked as Project Manager and Systems Engineer at Asto CT and as a DICOM Engineering Consultant for Self-Employed. Currently, they are a Project Manager at Leo Cancer Care.

Dan Farber completed their Bachelor of Arts in Mathematics & Computer Science from the State University of New York College at Potsdam between 1979 and 1983. Dan then went on to earn their Master of Science in Computer Science - Machine Vision / Digital Image Processing from Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute between 1983 and 1986.
