Andy Smith

Andy Smith is currently the Vehicle Line Director at Aston Martin Lagonda, where they lead the future product vehicle line as both VLD and Chief Engineer. Previously, they held significant leadership roles at McLaren Automotive, including Project Lead for the 720S and Body Vehicle Line Manager for the Sports Series, and contributed to award-winning models like the R1T and R1S at Rivian. Andy also gained valuable experience at Hyundai Motor Company and in motorsport with Red Bull Racing. They earned a Foundation degree in Motorsport Technology and a Bachelor of Science in Automotive Technology, both from Staffordshire University, graduating with distinction and first-class honors, respectively.
