Patrick Durbin

Patrick Durbin has been Astorg’s Senior Advisor for Healthcare since 2020.

Patrick has extensive global biopharmaceutical, diagnostics, and life sciences tools experience. He had a 14-year career with Thermo Fisher Scientific, the world leader in serving science, most recently as a corporate officer and Senior Vice President and President, Specialty Diagnostics and, previously, as President, BioPharma Services, where he led the acquisition of Patheon, a global leader in biopharmaceutical production. Prior to this, Patrick had a 17-year career at Covance (now part of LabCorp) where he held global roles of increasing responsibility in clinical trials management, commercial, general management, and corporate leadership.

Patrick holds a BS in Biology with Sigma Xi Honors, with concentrations in Philosophy and Medical Sociology, and an MBA in Pharmaceutical Marketing, both from Saint Joseph’s University. He completed the General Management Development Program at Columbia University and holds a certificate in Enology from The University of California – Davis.
