Astos Solutions GmbH is a German SME providing advanced software and engineering solutions for the global space industry. With almost 30 years of experience, we empower agencies, OEMs and research institutions to design, simulate and validate their missions — faster and more efficiently.

Our flagship software ASTOS 10 is an end-to-end simulation, optimization and analysis environment covering the entire mission lifecycle — from early concept to in-orbit validation. It enables rapid configuration of launchers, satellites, constellations and interplanetary missions with unmatched flexibility and performance.

Key capabilities include:
• Mission performance and system concept analysis
• Trajectory and spacecraft design optimization (MDO)
• Low-thrust and electric propulsion orbit raising (LOTOS)
• Guidance, Navigation and Control (GNC) development and validation
• Model-, Processor- and Hardware-in-the-Loop testing (MIL/PIL/HIL)
• Off-the-shelf MATLAB/Simulink interface for algorithm design
• Multi-body and flexible dynamics analysis
• Real-time camera & LiDAR simulation (Camera Simulator)
• GNC/AOCS SCOE for test-bed environments
• Space Situational Awareness (SSA), debris and re-entry risk assessment
• Magnetic and gravitational modelling (GAMAG, PEET)

With ASTOS X off-the-shelf, users can create and validate algorithms through MIL testing or use it as a Dynamic Kinematic Environment Simulator (DKES) for PIL and HIL applications with dSPACE hardware.

Beyond software, we offer engineering services, custom studies, and training for mission design, re-entry, and risk assessment.

Astos Solutions also supports academia: ASTOS X is free-of-charge for universities, fostering a global exchange platform for lecturers and students.
