Lochan Kumar

Lochan Kumar possesses extensive experience in manufacturing engineering and project management within the plastics technology sector. Currently working at ASTOTEC since October 2021, Lochan has previously held roles at Steintex Walter Vom Stein KG as a Project Engineer and Trainee Project Engineer, contributing to the implementation of smart technologies such as RFID, NFC, and QR Codes in plastic components. Earlier experience includes a position as a Master Thesis Student at MANN+HUMMEL Group, where Lochan focused on the chemical resistance of elastomers, along with substantial responsibilities as a Design and Development Engineer at the same company, including the design of filter assemblies and 3D modeling. Lochan also completed a Bachelor Thesis at Bosch, concentrating on improving manufacturing processes. Educational qualifications include a Master of Science in Polymer Technology from Aalen University and a Bachelor of Engineering in Mechanical Engineering from Visvesvaraya Technological University.
