Ken Johnson

Ken Johnson is an accomplished Director of Engineering with extensive experience in managing video delivery, HFC transports, IPTV, and HSD headends at Astound Broadband since 2022. Previously, as Director of Engineering and Regional Headend Manager at Wave Broadband, Ken orchestrated performance excellence across multiple datacenters in the San Francisco Bay area while overseeing a team of eight. Known for expertise in IP engineering, IT engineering, and datacenter management, Ken implemented unique methodologies to ensure maximum uptime and redundancy. Early career experience includes serving as IT/IP/Video Headend Manager at Starstream Communications/Wave Broadband, where operational efficiencies were improved through comprehensive IT management and support strategies. Educational background includes attendance at Sierra College from 1999 to 2000.
