Geoff Woolley is the Founder of Patamar Capital, a international impact venture capital firm focused on southern and southeast Asia and is also the chairman and co-founder of University Impact, a Utah-based student-run impact venture firm. Prior to Patamar, Geoff has spent his career identifying and creating new asset classes in and around the venture industry. He pioneered the concept of venture debt and has invested in over 400 companies during his time as Managing Director of Dominion Ventures including Ciena, Coinstar, Hotmail, and Human Genome Science. In addition to Dominion Ventures, he co-founded European Venture Partners (now called Kreos Capital), Unitus Capital and the University Venture Fund, the largest and most successful student-led venture fund in the U.S.
Geoff received his bachelor’s degree in Business Administration from BYU, and his MBA from the David Eccles School of Business at the University of Utah.
