Vivek Goyal

Vivek is a Managing Partner and Founder at Lumos Partners. Vivek has spent over 20 years in engineering, business development, strategy, and investment banking at Bank of America, Nero, Freescale Semiconductor, Motorola, and General Electric.

Over his career, Vivek has consummated over $15B in M&A and Capital Raise transactions, led financial and business strategy for several companies, designed semiconductor ICs to be used in inkjet printers, and programmed large scale gas turbines. Vivek at one point also chased storms as a researcher to study hail and tornado patterns in Colorado.

Vivek holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Electrical Engineering from Pennsylvania State University, a Masters diploma in Project Management from George Washington University, and an MBA from the Darden School of Business at the University of Virginia.
