Alec Climer

Alec Climer is a skilled engineer with extensive experience in RF engineering and satellite communications. Currently serving as a Customer Solutions Engineer at Astranis since January 2021, Alec previously worked at Northrop Grumman as a Principal RF Systems Engineer, where responsibilities included creating antenna models and building platform models. Prior to that, Alec held various positions at Gogo, advancing from RF Engineer to Sr. RF Engineer in Satellite Network Engineering, overseeing network performance and expansion efforts for major airlines. Additional experience includes roles at Telesat Canada as an International Sales Engineer, and at Intelsat, first as an Associate Customer Solutions Engineer and then as an intern. Alec holds a Master's degree in Systems Engineering from The George Washington University and a Bachelor's degree in Electrical, Electronics and Communications Engineering from the University of Maryland.
