Joseph Yates is a seasoned aerospace engineer with extensive experience in guidance, navigation, and control systems. Currently serving as a Senior Engineer at Astranis Space Technologies since June 2019, Joseph specializes in spacecraft attitude determination, star tracker integration, sensor measurement processing, and spacecraft pointing budgets. Previous roles include contributions as a Guidance, Navigation, and Control Engineer II and Engineer, focusing on electric propulsion and program management support. Joseph was instrumental as the MARIO Program Manager at Michigan eXploration Laboratory, leading the development of a CubeSat.
