Radio Frequency Engineering Manager at Astranis

Nick Mah is an experienced engineer specializing in radio frequency systems and electrical engineering. Currently serving as the Radio Frequency Engineering Manager and previously as a Radio Frequency Engineer at Astranis Space Technologies since June 2021, Nick has developed a strong background in the field. Prior experience includes an RF Engineering Internship at Astranis and an Electrical Engineering Internship at Northrop Grumman Mission Systems, where Nick conducted derating analysis on RF communication boards. At General Atomics, Nick worked as a Motors and Drives Intern, creating MATLAB data analysis tools. Notably, Nick contributed to Cal Poly Racing as an Electrical Systems Advisor and Lead, overseeing the subsystem for a student-built race car and leading the design of critical electrical systems. Nick holds a Master of Science in Electrical Engineering from UC San Diego and a Bachelor's degree from California Polytechnic State University-San Luis Obispo.
