Sofía Castelli

Sofía Castelli, PhD, is a Senior Application Scientist at Astraveus, specializing in cancer immunotherapy and CAR T cell therapies. They recently completed a PhD in Dr. Carl June’s lab at the University of Pennsylvania, focusing on developing CAR T cell therapies for solid tumors. Sofía also holds an MS in Drug Discovery from Drexel University College of Medicine and has experience as an Analytical Chemist at Eurofarma. In addition to their research, they served as Director of Academic Programming for GAPSA at the University of Pennsylvania and worked as a Teaching Assistant in Medical Pharmacology. A Fulbright Scholar in 2018, Sofía is committed to translating scientific advancements into impactful patient solutions.
