Abel Sousa

Abel Sousa is a Senior Data Scientist at AstraZeneca, specializing in Bioinformatics. They hold a PhD in Bioinformatics from the University of Porto and have conducted research at i3S in Portugal and the European Bioinformatics Institute (EMBL-EBI) in the UK. Abel previously worked as an Informatician at Owlstone Medical and completed an internship at Biocant - Technology Transfer Association. They also have a Master's degree in Bioinformatics and a Bachelor's degree in Applied Biology from the University of Minho.
