Alex Edwards

Alex Edwards is a Senior Scientist specializing in DNA-Encoded Library Screening at AstraZeneca, where they are involved in identifying small molecule binders for protein targets related to disease pathways. They graduated with a Masters in Biological and Medicinal Chemistry (MChem) from the University of York, where their year-long project focused on insulin-like peptide signaling in D. melanogaster and Culex quinquefasciatus at the York Structural Biology Laboratory. Prior to their role at AstraZeneca, Alex gained experience as a Services Assistant at Sainsbury's and worked as a Saturday Assistant at High Wycombe Library.
