Alexander Currie

Alexander Currie is the Senior Director of Biometrics at AstraZeneca, leading a team responsible for Vaccine & Immune Therapies monoclonal antibodies since 2022. Previously, Alexander served as Director of Statistics at GSK, managing statistical activities for various drug submissions from 2016 to 2022. Before that, Alexander held the position of Associate Director of Biostatistics at Daiichi Sankyo, where significant contributions included leading multiple regulatory submission efforts from 2008 to 2016. Alexander began their career as a Biostatistician at Quintiles, advancing through roles that emphasized statistical leadership and data analysis in clinical trials. They hold an MSc in Statistics with Applications in Medicine from the University of Southampton and a BSc in Mathematics, Statistics, and Economics from the University of Strathclyde.
