Alexander Yarunin

Alexander Yarunin is the Director of Scientific Affairs for Global Oncology Diagnostics at AstraZeneca, a position they have held since 2023. Previously, they served as Associate Director of Scientific Affairs at AstraZeneca, and held roles in product development and research at QIAGEN, GE Healthcare, and other organizations. Alexander's academic background includes a PhD in Molecular Biology from Heidelberg University and research experience at the University of Manchester, focusing on translational control in early fly development. They also completed summer research at the European Molecular Biology Laboratory.
