Alice Webb

Alice Webb is a Senior Scientist in Biologics Engineering at AstraZeneca, where they research the cause and mechanisms of rare genetic disorders using cellular, biochemical, and biophysical techniques. Previously, Alice held positions that include Hospital Laboratory Scientist at the Molecular Malignancy Laboratory and Protein Production and Biophysics Assay Scientist at LifeArc. Alice earned a PhD in Genetic Disease Research from the University of Leeds and has a Master’s degree in Molecular Genetics and Diagnostics from the University of Nottingham, as well as a Bachelor’s degree in Biology from the University of Bristol. They have been recognized for their contributions to research, winning several awards and presenting work at various symposia.
