Anders Holmén

Anders Holmén is a seasoned scientist with 20 years of experience in the pharmaceutical industry, currently serving as Vice President and Head of Pharmaceutical Sciences at AstraZeneca. In this role, they lead a global team of approximately 300 people, focusing on drug delivery and the development of clinical trial materials. Previously, Anders held various leadership positions at AstraZeneca, managing teams involved in pre-formulation, analytical sciences, and project development. They earned a PhD in Physical Chemistry and a MSc in Chemical Engineering from Chalmers University of Technology.
