Andrew Ritchie

Andrew Ritchie is a clinician-scientist serving as the Medical Director in Early Clinical Development at AstraZeneca and as an Honorary Senior Clinical Lecturer at Imperial College London’s NHLI. With a focus on early translational science and precision medicine, they lead clinical programs from Phase 1 to 3, enhancing trial design and execution. Previously, Ritchie practiced as an Honorary Consultant in Respiratory and General Internal Medicine and contributed to the COVID-19 ICU response. They hold a PhD in Medicine from Imperial College London and have a strong commitment to mentoring the next generation of clinician-scientists through teaching and supervision.
