Andrew Sisson

Andrew Sisson is the Director of Supply Chain at AstraZeneca, bringing extensive experience in microbiology within the pharmaceuticals industry. They previously held positions at MedImmune, including Microbiology Manager and Virology Manager, where they oversaw operations and ensured compliance with regulatory standards. At AstraZeneca, Andrew progressed from Site Pharmaceutical Microbiologist and Senior Manufacturing Manager to Associate Director of Manufacturing before assuming their current role. They hold a Bachelor of Science (Hons) in Applied Microbiology from Liverpool John Moores University, a Higher National Diploma in Applied Biology from the University of Central Lancashire, and a Post Graduate Diploma in Supply Chain Management from the University of Warwick. Andrew is also pursuing an Introductory Certificate in First Line Management from the Institute of Leadership and Management.
