Andy Ray

Andy Ray is an Associate Principal Scientist at AstraZeneca with over thirty years of experience in the pharmaceutical industry, focusing on structural elucidation and quantitative analysis of genotoxic impurities. They held the position of Senior Scientist at GlaxoSmithKline from 1994 to 2004 and worked as an Analyst at Wellcome Research Laboratories prior to that. Currently, Andy serves as Chair of the British Mass Spectrometry Society and is actively involved in research on direct analysis techniques and small footprint mass spectrometers. They earned a PhD in Chemistry from the University of Kent and a Bachelor of Science from Brunel University.
