Anke van Den Broeck

Anke Van den Broeck is a seasoned medical professional with extensive experience in the pharmaceutical industry and clinical settings. Currently serving as Medical Director at AstraZeneca since July 2022, Anke previously held various leadership roles at Amgen from May 2013 to July 2022, including Business Unit Director for Oncology & Hematology and Therapeutic Area Head for Oncology and Hematology. Anke's medical background includes a Fellowship in Hepatobiliary Surgery at UZ Leuven and a robust academic foundation, having completed a PhD project at KU Leuven focused on pancreatic cancer. Anke holds degrees in Biomedical Sciences, General Surgery, and Medicine from KU Leuven.
