Anqi Tu

Anqi Tu is a motivated Ph.D. analytical chemist with expertise in mass spectrometry-based characterization of lipids, metabolites, peptides, and proteins. They currently serve as a Senior Scientist at AstraZeneca, where they perform global proteomic analysis for protein biomarker discovery and quantification to support oncology drug development. Anqi has over eight years of experience in mass spectrometric assay development and data analysis, as well as in immunoassays. Previous roles include Associate Scientist and Post-doc Fellow at Merck, focusing on bioanalytical workflows for drug-drug interactions, and a Graduate Research Assistant at North Carolina State University, where they characterized ambient mass spectrometry techniques. They earned a Ph.D. in Analytical Chemistry from North Carolina State University and hold both a Master’s and Bachelor’s degree in Chemistry from Beijing University of Chemical Technology.
